Suggestions for a new practice amp

Do you have a regular amp? IMHO there is no need for a separate practice amp. That is what the volume knob is for. My practice amp is my Genzler MG800 on an Epifani UL210/UL112 stack.
No. The practice amp is my only amp. I just sold it so right now I don’t haae an amp. I play at church and we have a silent stage so, no need for an amp there.
I was leaning towards a Rumble 40 but I would like more headroom. I’m making a list of the suggested amps and bill be on the hunt soon. thanks.

Thanks, just what the dr ordered…more Gas

I never used the bass one, but when I had the guitar one, it was a really awesome machine. It was just great to have nearly every boss pedal built into the amp, it is heavy for that reason but it was such an awesome fun recording tool for guitar. I myself am kind of GAS now for it haha, but have no need for it now, but it is IMO an amazing recording tool for hobbyist. Series as well is great!

The search is over!
Thanks to all who contributed and shared their thoughts! I spoke with a friend and he recommended the Peavey vypyr x2.
Peavey Vypyr X2 40W 1x12 Guitar Combo Amp
The Musicians Friend ad says it's 40 watts, which is the power consumption, but the Peavey website shows it at 60watts RMS as does Sweetwater. Either way, I'm good. It's very similar to the Boss Katana. It has multiple effects and amp emulation and can run 5 processes simultaneously. I called Musicians Friend and between my discount and points, I was able to shave $90 off before taxes. Now the wait begins........

I have a rumble studio 40 I'm willing to part with fwiw.

FWIW, I might be interested in that. Depending on shipping and price of course. I'd much prefer to try one in person before buying but seems no one in our state has one in stock.

I see you're a supporting member, but I'm not, don't want to violate the rules here so if allowed please drop me a PM to discuss.

My neighbor has one of these amps and it’s really punchy and fun.

Well, the amp arrived earlier this week. Plenty loud for what I need. It handled the 5 string with the active pickups just fine. The inst/stomp and effects are nice. I like that it has a compressor setting and a compressor with boost. I have the compressor on all most of the time. It has a lot of nice features and the price point was just right.
