I'm looking for suggestions on what to use to replace the stock pre-amp and pickups in my 5 string Warwick Corvette. I really need some help with choosing a set of pickups since I'm having a difficult time finding a same size set of bridge and neck J-type pickups. I'd really like to have something that is hum-cancelling. A 2-band pre-amp would be fine. I am currently thinking a Bartolini set-up...probably 59J1 or 59CBJD with the HR-4.5AP/918 preamp. Does anyone have other suggestions?
