Suhr Riot!!!!!!!

So the lead guitarist in my band has a suhr endorsement and just received a shipment of pedals. While rehearsing he suggested I try the "Riot" pedal on bass. All I can say is WOW!!!! It retains all the lows and has a very rich and punchy midrange. It's a very simple setup with controls for "distortion", "level", "tone" and a three way toggle for different voices. I haven't had the chance to mess with that too much yet. I found the middle setting worked right away so I've gone with that for now. So far I haven't found an unusable tone which to me is a good sign. I've been able to test this in a loud full band setting and it really sounds great in the mix. My band has three guitar players and as you can imagine it's sometimes a bit of a struggle to get a distorted bass tone to cut and this is the best pedal I've tried in this application. The build quality on this thing is outstanding. Feels very sturdy and has the smoothest switch I have ever seen on a pedal. It's kind of weird to be so impressed with an on/off switch but I am. It's true bypass put doesn't pop like most pedals. I'll post a more extensive review once I get some time alone with this thing but I am blown away by it so far.
