Summer vs Fall

Thanks! I thought he would realize I was kidding. When we go to Vegas and it's 108, it feels much more comfy than 90 here in FL.

If his gf (that would be me) didn't think he would freeze to death, I would set the thermostat at no higher than 72!! And when he is at work, I do set it lower than 78. When he is home, I have to run around the house wearing very few clothes, have a fan blowing on my side of the bed, and a fan in the bathroom to help keep my makeup from melting as soon as I put it on!! When he is at my house, he has to wear long sleeves and use lots of blankets. I have to turn off the ceiling fans! I'm crazy about the man, so I am learning to handle the heat.

Fall wins, by far! Summers in Sactown, CA can be very hot, although this summer has been unusually mild, so far. Fall is a very welcome relief. I love the chill in the air, the fall colors, football, MLB pennant races and postseason, the start of NBA ball, and the holiday season. I am SO ready for autumn! :hyper:

I dunno man. For about 2 weeks straight the high never dropped below 99 degrees and the heat index was over 115 degrees every day. At night it never got below 80 degrees and with the heat index the temp felt like it was still in the mid to upper 90s. Add to that 60%+ humidity all day, every day, and I find it hard to believe Florida is worse at all. I even lived in Florida every summer over a period of 3 years for 3 months at a time and I can't think of a single instance where the weather was worse there than it is in Memphis. At least in Florida you get a fairly constant breeze and a rain shower almost every day.
