Better take 'em off in a darkened room before first venturing outside, Pruitt. yea i guess, but how often do you look directly at the sun? i seriously just paid the extra money because the color i liked wasn't available without polarized lenses lol.
they are really useful if you drive or have sensitive eyes like me, other than that they are not better than regulars. My biggest suprise was one day i was looking into a lake with the glasses on and for some reason i decided to take them off, the reflected glare by the water was huge i couldnt believe how hard was looing at that lake without the glasses because when i was wearing them it was like if it was autum.I bought a $120 pair of Ray Bans from Sunglass Hut. They ran me through the "ooo! aaaah!" deal with the fancy holographics and the polorized lenses. I went with unpolarized for $60 less.
The lens' weren't affixed to the frames in any way and twisting them meant the lens' popped out. I dropped them several times, so they got scratched. Finally, I lost em (left them somewhere).
They sure did look cool though!
I tried on a pair that was about 2x as expensive that had a flexible frame.... next time.
