Sunglasses

yea i guess, but how often do you look directly at the sun? i seriously just paid the extra money because the color i liked wasn't available without polarized lenses lol.

erm polarized sunglasses arent meant to look directly to the sun... :hmm: they are really useful if you drive or have sensitive eyes like me, other than that they are not better than regulars. My biggest suprise was one day i was looking into a lake with the glasses on and for some reason i decided to take them off, the reflected glare by the water was huge i couldnt believe how hard was looing at that lake without the glasses because when i was wearing them it was like if it was autum.

I bought a $120 pair of Ray Bans from Sunglass Hut. They ran me through the "ooo! aaaah!" deal with the fancy holographics and the polorized lenses. I went with unpolarized for $60 less.

The lens' weren't affixed to the frames in any way and twisting them meant the lens' popped out. I dropped them several times, so they got scratched. Finally, I lost em (left them somewhere).

They sure did look cool though!

I tried on a pair that was about 2x as expensive that had a flexible frame.... next time.

I found the lost glasses!!! :hyper:

Hiding in a coat pocket when I cleaned my car out since this past winter...

I need a new pair of glasses too. For me, there is no question - quality eyewear is worth it.

My friends said I was nuts when I bought my last pair of Polarized Oakleys for around $150… then I wore them a LOT for the next 6 years.

I'm a bass fisherman with light sensitive eyes. (blue in color, and I wear contacts = light sensitive) There is no question here, I must have quality POLARIZED sunglasses.

If you can't tell the difference between regular and polarized, try grabbing a pair of each and looking into the water. You'll see twice as far with the polarized. They are a MUST for every fisherman, and I find that I prefer them in several other situations too (driving on a rainy yet sunny day - polarized cut the glare)
