I guess you could say they kind of split the difference between the Ampeg thing and the Fender thingQUOTE] so then basically sexy as all get out ?
I like Sunn amps very much, but with one caveat...any time I've played one, it's made me sound exactly like John Entwistle's classic live sound. Not my thing, but it's a killer sound nonetheless.

I think so...the lower powered ones (60 watts) like I have overdrive really well for the "Live at Leeds" sound. At lower volumes it is a clean machine. I'm not a huge overdrive guy, but with PA support, it does everything I need it to......
I know this isn't directly related to your question about the 300T, but if the recent Sunn amps have anything in common with the old ones they must be great! Reviews I've seen for the 300T are all good.
