SUPER CHEAP Chinese Rickenbacker... Worth Buying?

But the good news: After a fine personal adjustment an control the solderwork 3 of the 5 Chickenbackers are just GREAT! .Very good playabillity, sounding even more (better) than the real Rickenbacker I've played on.
Offcourse it's not the real thing, but if you like the Chris Squire Rick sound and/or the very typical Rickenbacker low-deep sound of real Rickenbackers but.....allso a puchy soul/funck sound..The chickenbacker is even a far better choice than a real Rick.. I'm sorry but that is my honest experience with Chickenbackers. Don't expect to recieve a 100% Chinabass but if you can adjust your own basses and take good care from who your buying ..these Chickenbackers can be absolutly amazingly good ! I have 2 chickenbackers and they are never leaving. I just love these becouse their very good playabillity and the "more than a real Rick" sounds that you can make on them.
I've bought 5 of these chickenbackers. 1 was very poor quallity: Very important is to watch the reviews. There are sellers that sell "rubbish".

1. You are getting something that "kinda" looks like a Ric. You have absolutely no idea how it sounds or plays like.
2. If it sucks, you will probably be S.O.L.
3. Ethically, you are buying a counterfeit. How often do you see a thread here with someone looking at a used Fender, Ric or other instrument, and not knowing if it is legitimate?

As far as "rubbish" is concerned, this post has it all.
You bought 5, one was garbage, 3 needed to be taken apart for soldering repairs and you kept 2. Tell us, did you sell off the 3 dogs as $300.00 counterfeits or as "something else"?
The day that Chinese counterfeits outperform the real thing is the day that Rickenbacker outsources their production to China.......and that ain't happening anytime soon.

Do not buy the most cheap ones.
I now, recognise from a picture, the rubbish and the good ones. Becouse I have had a cheap and very poor one: Sometimes you have to pay money to become an expert
After you recieve the bass often it needs good adjustment and sometimes you need to do some solder work.
If you can adjust a bass yourselve then I would 100% sure give it a try.
In fact it's rediculous what great bass you can buy for so less money,and after adjustment they can sound
just GREAT.
This bass is specially made to my wishes.
I like the "heavy Rick sound" but after all I love the iconic Rick model
Since 1985 I play a Ken Smith bass 4bt.
You can say I had the luck to be a bit of a spoyled bassplayer.
A Ken Smith on a decent amp, and you can make all bass sounds for all music styles
I've played real Rick. They are GREAT but not for all music styles.
It's not forbidden to buy a (fake)Rick model. It's forbidden to sell it without telling that it is a fake.
Like you: Everone that looks for a real Rickenbacker can see and knows that this is not a real one. Ibanez and lots of other marks made allso Fake Ricks'..so what is the problem ?
I do not want a real Rick for 2300 Euro.
Money is not my problem but I just cannot see or hear why a real Rickenbacker should cost 2300 Euro.
For 2 trustrods ? Real Rickenbacker Logo, or just to be the man who can pay a real Rick ?
I just want a bass that looks good .It must be very good playable and it has to sound great and for many music styles usefull. That's why I prefer this bass.
Blindfolded even you would not notice the difference between this bass and a real Rickenbacker.
Only that one bass has a wider range and more sounds in it.

You did not made 1 good point why Chickenbacker should be sounding worse or else.
I understand that: You just can't and are allso not willin to give it a honest try and don't want to hear good things.. They took your Original Rickenbacker and made fakes of it and you hate that..amen.
