SUPER CHEAP Chinese Rickenbacker... Worth Buying?

Without seeing the headstock, I think your average punter would be hard pushed to tell the difference between this one and the real thing.

The one I am familiar with have the pick up cover split in two parts. Other than this, I would be fooled. I have never seem the real thing in "real life" so to speak, so maybe I am not a good example.
 
it appears that that particular seller is just using pictures of real ones and then states in the ad's copy that his basses are made in china. he has some listed as a 1972, 1973, 1974 and 1978 just to name a few.

which makes me believe that what would actually show up at your door would not only not be the one that you see in the pictures, but probably not even close to it.
