Super Long strings for 5str bass

Greetings!
Recently bought first bass, Cort C5 plus. Pretty happy with it ) So, after few months i decided to replace strings, and figured that they aren't long enought to fit thru deck, if i set them via bridge - everythung fine, but if its supposed to be thru deck - i wanna do it that way)
Strings, whitch Cort mentions in specs, is d'addario exl170-5sl. They are great, but cant find them at acceptable price.
The only available set wich marked as "super long" is ERNIE BALL 2850, but 5 our market is flooded by fake ones.
I will really appreciate it if you suggest an option.

D'Addario "Super Long" = 38" in winding length (ball end to taper).

DR's "long scale" is longer than most at 37.75" in winding length, which is only 0.25" shorter than D'Addario's "super long".

"Long Scale" by Ken Smith is 38" in winding length, which should work fine for you as well.

Where are you located?

What would you consider "acceptable price"?

I can't even find Exl170-5sl in stock now. I mean in shops i can order. They WERE in stock priced around 50-70usd :)
Ernie Ball 2850 is 35usd, its ok if you get original ones. Everything priced not higher than 2 times of global markdt is "acceptable".

Do you know if DR is long enough for 37" multiscale basses like Dingwall and Ibanez MS series?

I have hard time finding good set of strings for them. Usually problem is drop A tuning where I'd need 145 B string. Only option I found was D'addario Prosteel super long scale set in 45-130 plus separate 140-145 B string, total cost of 55e. Even cost is acceptable, I don't want bass to have only one option for strings. That's why I've stick to normal 34 scale so far.

I don't know the scale length of OP's Cort but fwiw I can get regular "long scale" Ken Smith strings to fit on any of my 35" scale length basses if they're just strung through the bridge ...but if I wan to string them through the body I need to use the Ken Smith "Extra-Long" (# AA-RMM-5X)

DR's standard "long scale" is 37.75" from ball end to the taper, which is not long enough on the 37" scale as it only leaves 0.75" behind the saddle.

That said, I believe DR now offers multi-scale sets for certain types.
You are right, it is not long enough.

Sets are not the best, because they are usually for standard tuning, and while I'm using drop A tuning I need thicker B string - let's say 145 for 37 scale. I use 160 tapered string for 34 scale drop A tuning and it is good for the job. This would be no problem otherwise, but super/extra long scales has not enough availability in single strings offering in EU area. This is the main reason why I still use 34 scale basses.

I just bought some 'long scale' Thomastek-Infeld strings for a 5-string Rick Turner bass I was sold with ancient roundwounds, one of which soon broke. But they were too short.... however, T-I do sell a 'super long' string (JF 365) at a nominal 36", if you've got the hundred quid spare.
