Super Pawn Shop Find

*Super RARE that is.*

So yeah I've been playing since this past August self-taught and I've officially hit my first case of GAS. I've been playing a Squier Standard Jazz and a Stagg fretless since then.

I love the Squier (gets very nice slap tone with slinkys), but it's 12lbs are just too heavy for my 5'4" and 110lb stature, haha. Plus, it ain't got no nostalgia!

I visited the local pawn shop and found a rarity that I'm trading the Squier in for. It is so rare that I do not wish to disclose it's brand and model until tonight after it is purchased.
:ninja:

Care to guess? :D

I once made a bass out of part of my pine dinner table, a strong branch off a hickory tree, a couple of throttle cables for strings and a radioshack microphone as the pickup. I "bolted" it together with some number 10 nails, elmer's glue, and a bit of duct tape. Could it be THAT rare piece of equipment?

Well, whatever it is, it is in a pawn shop in Atwater, California. Since Atwater lists only one pawn shop ("The Pawn Shop" on Broadway...phone: (209) 358-1333), I'm guessing that a simple phone call could find out.

IOW, there's no need to be "secretive" if the info can be easily found out.

(unless there's a pawn shop that isn't listed in Citysearch or any of the other local search engines)

;)

Toki Jazz......who the hell knows and why is it such a big deal to keep it a secret?

Your post is almost like saying "I'm wearing boxers today...care to guess what color???"
