They have Cort, Roland, and Peavey basses currently, according to the guy who answered the phone @ The Pawn Shop. He may have forgotten something though. If it's a Roland bass, that would be rare...one of the midi basses.

I think you're on to it, but because the OP said it was made in 1980, it might be more like this GR-33B:

I'm no expert on which models were made when, so this is just a guess.

I seriously doubt if anyone here is gonna buy it out from under the OP.

Remember - the OP ASKED us to guess. Just because we have "guessed" (and done some research into possibilities) doesn't mean that we are even remotely entertaining the idea of buying it. Besides, buying from a pawn shop "sight unseen" is NEVER a good idea.
