Super Russian

Bump. Any news in here? I just learned of the ecistence of the TFR. I really like the EHX Green Russian, then got my hands on a TFR, seem to prefer it and now read about the Super Russian.

What‘s the difference between the SR and the Elephant?

Still have mine. Unless you want something smaller, I can’t think of a muff that is more appealing.

A few ways that I use it:

• I like to pair mine up with an overdrive before that has more mids (Plumes for me). Helps the muff to cut when you want it to (almost better than a blend).
• I also really love the boost by itself as a tone sweetener.
• When you drive the boost side with a clean OD or boost, you get a warm/slight distortion/OD that is very useable.
  
• The boost is also really good for driving modulation down the line. Gives any mod pedal a lot of presence.
• Also, an octave pedal after the muff gives some nice synthy sounds.
