So one of my band's new songs involves tons of popping. I heard superglue on fingers reduces pain and can function as callouses. Does it work?

Calluses develop and calluses peel off. The only way to manage calluses is to practice, practice, and practice.
Not to gross you out, but the quick way to harden skin is to pee on it. I'm not kidding - really - it does work. In college I had a job with a mason. The skin on my hands was soft and was getting cut to ribbons. They told me to pee on them and I did. Within a week it was like I had a pair of leather gloves on. I think this trick started with coal miners. Now you might want to just do your finger tips -I don't want to hear any complaints that you can't reach around the neck anymore because you've gone too far.
