Just wondering…Is there an Average Drummer app?Currently downloading Superior Drummer 3 and a few expansion packs (Rooms of Hansa, Twisted Kit..). I guess it's time to figure how to use MIDI. Send me your thoughts and prayers.

Indeed the learning process was fun.The thing that was not obvious to me at first, is how to actually use and manipulate the loops as I was unfamiliar with DAW's. Well it took me way longer than necessary to figure out that you need a DAW to bring the loops into and setup a song. But is also through setting up a virtual instrument in the DAW for the drum software that you get to do everything.
Very cool stuff.
Absolutely NO ONE wants to hear me on an actual kit, Franken or otherwise. My Frankenkit. The "real" Hats are waaay better for my very below average Stewart Copeland hat work..View attachment 7118812
ThanksVery cool stuff.
Are you using samples or just whatever sounds are in the hardware? I had EZ Drummer previously and I got it specifically for the Twisted Kit so I could get some Tom Waits percussion ensemble sounds happening. Still have that but wanted to upgrade. I'm really stoked to try out the Hansa kits and rooms. Thanks
And I can mix and overlap multiple patterns and kits all day long without battling a computer
I can sample individual sounds, patterns, loops, record to HD, construct sounds and kits from scratch with several different types of synthesis, sequence patterns from scratch, layer preset patterns over custom patterns, add effects onboard, fade patterns and kits over each other while mixing levels within each pattern and drum machine. Are you using samples or just whatever sounds are in the hardware? In Logic you need to turn on the MIDI clock out. It's under project settings sync. If you want to mess with an unsupported controller, I have messed around a bit in the controller assignments window (option+shft+k). There are a lot of, essentially, hidden commands you can assign to anything in Logic. It is just not user friendly and you need to save and replace preference files to be safe, but there is a way to force Logic to do things it doesn't want to do. Here is my clock out settings. Just checked the boxes.Currently downloading Superior Drummer 3 and a few expansion packs (Rooms of Hansa, Twisted Kit..). I guess it's time to figure how to use MIDI. Oh, also, and please do not take this as a slight, but always make sure that if you have a chain of devices with MIDI I/O and MIDI thru, that everything is powered on and working. I have wasted time on stuff that a basic power check would solve (like something in the chain wasn't powered on...)Currently downloading Superior Drummer 3 and a few expansion packs (Rooms of Hansa, Twisted Kit..).
