As a supporting member you should see a maximum of 3 ads per page. Going ad free or Gold will get rid of all ads. Regular members see 5 or 6 ads per page, and guests see a lot more.

All good. I didn't recall seeing them before. Something does seem different though. I don't know if the algorithm is different or what, but the ads I get seem more random and less focused.

So, I wasn't seeing ads before but now not only do they pop up, but they start playing video on their own.

I became a Gold Supporting Member a few months back and get zero ads.

I'm not sure if you were using an ad blocker before, but the gold level has always been the membership with no ads. We've used this setup for years. We tried a different ad provider in June but are back to the usual as of June 29th. The ad free subscription is new, and meant to be a low cost option for people who don't need to sell in classifieds.

Thanks Paul. I don't what the deal was but it seems to have solved itself. There may be a small ad here and there but that doesn't worry me. It was ads that would start playing videos automatically. Could have been something on my phone. Thanks again for letting me know.
