Sushi box pedals - quality issue?

Hi! I have bought 4 Sushi Box pedals and within a few months, they ALL have either crapped out and/ or gotten extremely noisy with all sorts of odd sounds. I plan on sending these back to Sushi Box to be checked and repaired - but - why is this a problem for me? What’s your experiences? BTW I use a Ghost Power box with 2 inputs that are 9/12/18v. No setting makes things better…
I'd put money on a power supply issue here. Only time I've gotten squealing was when I tried to run one from a power supply without enough current. If "Ghost Power" is actually "Ghostfire" then I'm guessing they're not getting enough power. If you ran a pedal intended for 9-12v at 18v then you may have broken them yourself.

I have the 2 Note pedal. It comes with its own power supply. It’s clearly marked on the Sushi Box pedals to use 9-12v power. I did. The Ghost Fire had 9V @500 mamps and 9 and 12V at higher mamps. Tried all and no difference.

Yes… Ghost Fire. Tried 9V and 12 v….. both came up with nothing. I tried my SVT pedal, the AD-200 pedal, etc…
Which Ghostfire supply? Most of the ones I am seeing listed are rechargeable battery type supplies with a max of 500mA per output (and if the max is 500mA at 9V it will be even less at 12V as the total power is current x voltage). This is the only supply I am seeing with a single higher current output but maybe I’m missing something: Ghost Fire Pedal Power Supply Isolated – Noise-Free, Short Circuit Protection, Lifetime Warranty(FH5-DIGITAL)

The SB SVT pedal requires 900mA as per the website (the reason it ships with its own power supply) and the AD-200 isn’t currently listed but if it is another dual-tube preamp then also likely requires more than 500mA. The problem with a battery-based supply (if you are using one of the rechargeable Ghostfires) and high-current pedals is that you will likely deplete the battery quite fast to the point that it won’t be able to provide the current necessary for minimal operating parameters. Hopefully you didn’t fry both of these pedals.

I’ve played through two SushiBox pedals for several years when playing ampless. Only one time did I experience a problem, the Finally DI tube went microphonic. Once I replaced the tube with a Mesa branded tube I’ve not had another problem. The power supply in the photo has always been the one used.

I have been running CIOKS DC5, SOL, and DC7 with SushiBox Box and Shift Line tube preamp pedals with no issues. More recently I added my own rendition of an Alembic Blue Box, allowing my Series I bass to be powered directly off of the pedal board.

The only issue I’ve got is that the mains power receptacle on my DC7 has some kind of intermittent latching issue at power up. Otherwise bullet proof.

This the power supply. I tried all 5 at 9V and the 2 switchable ones at 12.

I’ll end this thread with this: I’ll communicate with Sushi Box and hope to get this resolved. Thanks everyone!!!
It looks like the 5th output is the only one with adequate current for the Sushi SVT pedal. Not sure about the other one you have.

I'd also start to worry my power supply is faulty if four different pedals have fried after being plugged into it.

Even if the specs say the two outlets on the right have enough juice and are supposed to be isolated, this is too much repeated failure from one power supply.
