Sushi box pedals - quality issue?

I also use an Ojai and a Cioks on my pedal board…I use the Ghost only at home. Maybe I should only use it with non-tube pedals…
The good news is most low power analog pedals like our beloved fuzzes seem very difficult to harm, so this power supply is probably fine with them. I'd be a bit afraid of powering anything high dollar with it given what its done so far, but it can probably still let you rip up some Big Muff fun without worry.

Just get a 1.7 Amp OneSpot and use it on only 1 Sushi Pedal . They are cheap. Or get a 12 volt and make sure that they have the right polarity for your Sushi Pedal * some of the early pedals can do either polarity ). Make sure the barrel is not oversized as well, . Or buy the power supply from him. I run all my Sushi at 12V and 1 amp power supplies

After have experienced similar issues with tube pedals and cheap power supplies I got the voodoo pedal power x8. 8 isolated, all at 500mah. I run a sushi box underground accelerator right into a finally v2 and have no issues whatsoever. Also have a compressor, dirt box, mxr bass synth, fuzz and octave. One to spare. Covers all of my needs and with all of the inputs being 500mah @ 9v, I don't have to worry about what I plug into where. If I need something more than 500mah (very rare), I run it on it's own dedicated power supply.

This the power supply. I tried all 5 at 9V and the 2 switchable ones at 12.

I’ll end this thread with this: I’ll communicate with Sushi Box and hope to get this resolved. Thanks everyone!!!
I had a ghost fire. It was the source of noise for many pedal configurations. I swapped in a cioks and the noise was gone. Ghost fire went in the trash. I still like the small pedalboard I got with it but something was off with the power supply, as it didn’t seem to isolate anything.

So, I wound up shipping all 3 Sushi Box pedals back to Nathan. He tested them and two were misbehaving due to bad tubes…one, SVT pedal needed a power supply. Nathan only charged me for the tubes ( of course, and didn’t expect him to do this for free) and shipping! All three now work great. Even with the GhostFire power supply, but the Cioks is a bit quieter..

Nathan was fast, helpful and I sensed he wanted to help and appreciates his Customers! Thanks, Nathan! I won’t hesitate to buy more Sushi Box products!
