I've got a vintage au7 I might try. Thanks!I would say for upright, rolling a lower output tube into the Slampegg is the game changer. I currently have a nos 12AT7 but I could see putting a 12AU7 too. The useful tone is truly inspiring but not really MBOL.
A comment or two though - B15 tone and MBOL are not the same thing. Not sure how anyone could confuse the two. There's no magic that the B15 circuit is going to do to make a piezo somehow sound like a microphone. Once you start running a pickup on an instrument, your expectations for acoustic reproduction should go out the window unless you're able to play at very low volumes.

I'm hoping to have them back in stock in the next week or so.I was going to buy a Slampegg for my P bass when I found out it is great for upright too!
Tried my acoustic yesterday with my B25 yesterday and though I wouldn`t use it as a first choice it was better than expected. I can see how a B25 in a pedal might be usable for upright bass
If the input jack is wired (not directly soldered on a PCB) that is easy to do. Just cut the hot wire and solder the capacitor in between. If soldered directly on a PCB a conductor Track might need to be cut and bridged by the capacitor wired to both sides of the cut.That’ll be the next one I try, for sure. Thanks for the heads up. I wonder if he could easily put that single element Yamahiko capacitor mod in there for me, too…

The only difficult part is the tiny RG174 cable used on the leads makes for thin wire and encourages steady hands.
