I was thinking the UA EQ would be beneficial since the Finally 2 doesn’t have one? That’s kind of what I feel I need…EQ upstream of the RFE and Finally. Maybe not?
No, you’re right on the money. I don’t have a finally at the end. I have an NP if I didn’t, I could see the benefit with the UA eq upfront. It does sweeten the tone.
I’m pretty new to the pedal board thing, but I am surprised how good just the RFE into the Finally sounds. The RFE adds a lot more than I thought, and I haven’t really tweaked it much beyond cutting some mids at around 400 and boosting at my HPF cutoff. Can definitely tell a difference when it is off. I let a friend borrow my powered monitor, so I don’t have a flat response amp at the moment. Sounds nice through the Milkman though.
