Just looked up. She’s got a lot of dates but they’re all afar. Anyone who lives off should go see the legend if you get a chance.

Infortunately, her career was always greater in the UK and the rest of the world not the US; just a Happy Days footnote and “Stumbling In” here.

Ahhh, she's the real deal and was ahead of her time in many ways. @Killing Floor's use of the word "legend" is totally apt. Still have my vinyl copy of her debut album.
The clip of the Pleasure Seekers is from a late 60s TV show called This Is It! hosted by Lynn Easton of The Kingsmen. The show originated from Portland, OR and featured mostly bands from the Pacific Northwest. The Pleasure Seekers video seems to be the only surviving footage from that show. Notice the Sunn amps which were built in Oregon. I have seen other photos of the Pleasure Seekers with the Sunn amps so they were not just props for this show. Conrad Sundholm who passed away last year designed the first Sunn amp for his brother Norman who was the bass player for The Kingsmen.

In high school the more knowledgeable people, most of whom played in bands, dug her really hard at the time. Thanks for reminding me.

She had the name and the look. I couldn’t tell you anything she did, besides ‘’Stumblin’ In’. But it’s easy to understand her importance, because she was among the first to do whatever she did. You just had to find her.

I came across a video of her soloing last year. I have rarely if ever seen such flamboyant, dare I say it, lead guitar-like energy and showmanship displayed in a bass solo. She was not on my radar of bass greats, maybe because of her rockstar looks and many other talents. Absolutely still impressive after all these years. A legend.
Therein lies the problem…her career has been much more than that.
She is in my top three favorite female bassists that rock the hardest.

There was that November 2023 interview Bass Musician Magazine's Raul Amador did with Suzi ("Today we have the extraordinary honor and privilege of catching up with Suzi Quatrrro.. Yayyyy!"
) The title of the interview was "Eternal Powerhouse" which is flowery but sums it up. Suzi comes across as one savvy musician and businesswoman.
I can't help it.. Here's a screen grab of Raul saying "Yayyyy!" and Suzi's bemused reaction:
