SVT 2 Pro overheating

so I've had my 2 pro for about 7 months. It's one of the premier edition ones. I had used it without any problems until tonight. after about 2 hours, it just cut off my signal and the clipping light stayed on constantly. The tubes were glowing blue. I also noticed both the red and green bias lights were on.

Any idea's or suggestions? Could the tubes be done and need to be replaced? Serviced by a tech? I'm a young musician with no money and hoping to go on tour soon, so I need to get this taken care of quickly and hopefully not have to sell a kidney.

what your taliking about there is exactly the reason i dont use ampeg amymore..no matter what was done by the tech or how many times my ampegs just tunrned off´mid gig for no reason..they sound fantastic but for me just to tempermental, then again i am sure there are lads that never had a bother...

are there any burning smells or smoke?.its there enough Ventilation
is the amp racked? i have been reading that svt2 does over heat!! and a few guys solved the problem with a mini fan blowing air in from the back..

and that there is a design problem with the 1/4" speaker output jacks?????

sorry i cant be of much help if the amp is just cutting out and there is nothing else you can see try a little fan as an option and see what happens..ampegs rock but like i said i cant depend on them but there are millions that do..good luck..

The fault indication for both green and red on with no sound is bad tubes or bad bias control. Given that it's a premier edition, it's at least 20 years old, and could be in need of some repair in terms of old resistors or old caps, etc. +1 to Jimmy, a competent tech will be able to quickly diagnose the issue and get you back on the road.
