Wondering if anyone have experiences using the 212av with an octave pedal. Does it fart out or handle it well?

No experience with that cab but I would always use a hpf with an octave

It always handled my 3leaf Octabvre well. Great cabinet!
I have one and use an MXR bass octave pedal. It handles it OK, but frankly, the 212AV is not really a low end cabinet. It's frequency range is 71Hz-18kHz (±3dB), 40Hz (-10dB, Usable Low Frequency). the low-mids out of it are glorious but it's not a house shaker IMO. I pair it with a Heritage SVT410 to really bring the thunder.
1000% on this. It will handle whatever you throw at it, and sound awesome as well while the little cab elves inside do their work.
