SVT cab - internal volume?

I'm planning on getting four Jensen speakers and making a "half SVT" cab.

I know that SVT cabs are broken up so there are four chambers with two 10's in each chamber and that they are sealed cabs.

What is the volume of each chamber in your typical classic SVT cab?

For those who are curious I'm planning on running it with a 1971 Traynor Mark II (YBA-1A) head that has KT-88's (two of them) for the output tubes. Nice head. I don't want a full SVT, but this would be fun.

SVT 8x10 is 26x48x16
The front speaker board is recessed 2 in (that's right) from the front so the real dimensions are 26x48x14.
Made from 3/4 in plywood.
Five 3/4 in horizontal pieces (top, bottom, 3 partitions).
Two 3/4 in vertical sides.
Two 3/4 in vertical faces (front speaker board, back).
Chamber internal height: (48 - 5(3/4))/4 = 11.06 in
Chamber internal width: 26 - 2(3/4) = 24.5 in
Chamber internal depth: 14 - 2(3/4) == 12.5 in
Cahmber Vol = 11.06 * 24.5 * 12.5 = 3387 in^3

One more thing. If you want to reproduce the SVT cab thing then you ought to use the same drivers. I believe they use an eminence model now. They've always been 32 ohm (that's right) models with 2 in voice coils. I don't know which model number though - you can find that out. You should also get them with the gasket on the back side of the frame for rear mounting, which the SVT and most cabinets do. It's strange because although most cabs do rear mounting, many after-market drivers have the gaskets only for front mounting.

I was going to go with a Jensen MOD 10-50 which comes in 32 ohm and is listed as an SVT replacement. I'm not sure how faithful it is, but I've heard it used in a Fender Bassman 10 (50 watt 4x10 combo) and it sounded good to me and was loud enough to keep up with me as a drummer (and I wasn't holding back for it).

The long and short of it is that I like that driver and it's moderately inexpensive.

Since the Jensen is listed as an SVT replacement, it should be OK for the same "sub-cab" size.

Then I assume you'd wire all four drivers in parallel for an 8-ohm cab.

That's the plan. Too many plans and not enough follow through though. I'm alternately considering taking the two Eden 12" four ohm woofers I have sitting down here (as well as the horn and crossover) and making an all tube 100 watt, 2x12 kick and roll combo (Mini Rig of Doom) out of the whole schmear (I think I'd pass on the horn and crossover). It has the advantage of already being largely paid for. Otherwise I'm not sure what I'm going to do with an eight ohm 2x12. It's probably the wisest course of action.

I'm in the process of selling a bunch of gear to finance a pair of small eight ohm cabs to go with the solid state heads (either my Shuttle 6.0 or my AMP BH-420). You (Rick) and I had discussed the Eden D112XLT's. Other contenders are a pair of Bag End 1x15's, a pair of Genz Benz Neox 112's or a pair of Aguilar DB112's. I'd be able to audition the Eden and the Bag End before buying. I'd have to get the Neox or DB112's sound unheard.

Like I said, too many plans, not enough follow through. We haven't even started talking about all the bass mods I have to do.
