Will an older mesa boogie diesel 1x15 bass cabinet be sufficient for an all tube svt? I've heard comments about ported being the best match and have also heard that lowend character can be lost. Anyone?

SVT question..

It needs to be a 4 ohm cab. All tube SVT's don't have an 8 ohm selection, only 2 or 4. IMO a SVT needs to be paired with 10's, but that's just my opinion.
SVts only have 2 and 4 ohm outputs as said. Also, typically comments say selaed is the best match for an all tube head! Its all down to personal tastes tho.
