Swapping necks indiscriminately?

Hi. I have cheapo Glarry P. I bought it as a practice modding platform. After upgrading the pups. I really like how it sounds! But... i don't like how it feels. Especially the necks.

i have few other 34" scale basses lying around. A Sire and a G&L tribute. Can I simply swap necks? What factors need to be considered? newbie here. Thanks.

If the mounting bolt/screw pattern on the neck & body matches, then you could probably swap fairly easily.

If it does not then maybe, but there's much more skill and effort needed

Many/most "P" basses have a standard 4 bolt pattern.

You just need to look at what you have and proceed accordingly

put some quick release latches on it and use it on every bass.
