Switching between scale lengths ...

I have 34"s, 35"s & a 36". No problems,

No problems going between 35" fretless 5 and 34" fretless 4.

It's just an inch. I had my Yamaha TRB5 for years before I actually knew that it was a 35" scale bass.

I flop around from 31"/34"/35" all in a night...no problem at all. Played 34" forever and the big adjustment was when I got my 31". Took about 2 hours to be comfortable with the basics and about a week before I could move all over without having to look at the neck.

Just don't think too hard about it, and you'll be fine.

+1 It's like a Tara Labs AC cable, it's all in your head.

I have a 35" FBB and a 34" P-bass, I notice the different neck contours but not the extra inch.
