I use a Rolls MX28 mini mix VI for mixing pre's.It's small,clean and quiet,has 3 stereo channels in,could also be used mono,which is the way I use it,stereo out to 2 channel poweramp.Works great for mixing in effects as needed with a wet and dry signal.With a Morley A/B floor switch you could easily switch between 2 pedals or preamps
