Hi all,
First of all, sorry for my english. I´m thinking about using my laptop through the fx loop of my iAmp500, for digital fx, as a vst plugin or something similar (like the IK Ampeg VSX), but sending back the signal to the amp. I´m going to plug the fx send to the firewire interface (an Echo Audiofire 4) and the output of the card to the return of the amp. There´s any way to switch off the fx loop while playing if something is going wrong? (computers use to go wrong a lot, you know). The only way is unplug the fx loop, or can I make a footswitch or something to let the bass sounds without the fx loop, clean? Also, I don´t know if there´ll be a loss in the signal (due to non-true bypassing), so that´s its why I want to just set the fx loop on in the part of the song that it´ll needed... Any help?
Thanks a lot folks
