Double Bass switching ohms.

This may seem like a dumb question but.......

I have an 8 ohm cab and a 4 ohm cab witch I would like to run from my GB shuttle but the minimum ohm load is 4.

Is it possible to get the ohms switched to 8 from 4 on the 4 ohm cab?

It's a schroeder mini12+

or do I have to get a different cab?

Glockenklang makes or made a transformer that will actually do that but it weighs in at 18 lbs. You could have Jorg Schroder change out the driver and replace it with an 8 ohm if he offers that option, but that would not be an inexpensive proposition either. It's probably best just to sell the 4 ohm and buy an additional 8 ohm.
