SWR 550X cab suggestions

I have an SWR 550X paired up with an Ampeg SVT 15E and a Peavey BW 15" in a hommade cab, but it's not punchy enough for me. I'm probably gonna match the SVT up with an SVT 410, but I wanted some feedback of what cabs some of you guys are using with this head.

I'm a big fan of "matching" rigs. If you want punchy, try out an SWR Henry the 8x8, or some SWR 10's. That's what I'd do anyway. Good luck.

I have my SVT410HLF on it.....it works REAL well!

I've only tried the X series with Goliath series of cabs, and the sound was quite pleasing.

The SWR amps are not punchy set flat. Make sure aurel enhancer is all the way off it only makes the problem worse. Cut some bass and boost some mids. Try that before you get another cab. If you do get another cab it should be one that is tuned to be more mid forward to make up for the lack of mids that the amp puts out. I have a 350X that I use with 2 Wizzy cabs and they cut through the mix just fine.
