I was hoping for a little input from my fellow TBers....
I've been in the market for a 4 ohm cab to use with my Genz Benz 500 watt amp. My goal is one cab to handle most any gig, even if its overkill for many. Research has found many newer cabs that will do the trick, but most are pricey and finding anything used in my neighborhood is REALLY rare. I have the opportumity to purchase an SWR Big Bertha 2x15 + horn for what seems a resonable price. I like the 15's over 10's and the cab actually fairly easy to move around. I was wondering if anyone is still using or has used one in the past and what your experiences/opinions are of its sound and dependability. What I've read so far in my research has been mixed reviews, but there is limited info to be found on the net. TB research/feedback has let me to several purchases recently that I was totally happy with, so I thought I'd better run it by you guys & gals before taking the plunge.
I also was curious if there is a way to tell if it is pre or post Fender? I truly appreciate any and all input...thanks!!!
