SWR Goliath III replacement speakers

I have done quite some bass speaker swaps with great results. But it might not work out the way I intent. Those Pas speakers were amazing tho. I had a SWR red head. And the original Pas speakers were amazing.

I replaced them with Thomann speakers. I like that swap. Not better... Not worse. A little different. Old SWR cabinets were fitted with Bag End speakers. Amazing speakers. I have owned a complete Bag End P.A. system. That was THA BUSINESS. Well we'll see.

IMO, they are about the worst choice possible for that cabinet. I believe I stated why earlier in this thread.

The CA-10 is pretty close to the original PAS driver, the CA-1059 is more of an extended performance version of the CA-10. Both are FAR better choices IMO.

I'm only using the 4x10 for mids and highs I'm using the big ben for lows so I think it will be fine thanks for the input tho
Then the BP-102 is an even worse choice, way worse than either of the CA series drivers... and by quite a bit.

Have you looked at the sensitivity numbers as well as the mid-high frequency extension?
