SX SJP sunburst with black headstock

I have done several modifications to my SX SPJ 3TBS. After refinishing the neck, reducing the headstock and changing the pick ups, I decided to go for broke and paint the headstock black. The outer edge of the body paint is almost black so I figured I'd paint the headstock to match. I painted the top of the headstock leaving sides and back natural.
I'm happy with the results. I'm not sure if I will put a new logo on it or leave it like it is.

Tone is great. The PJ has such a variety of tones and the EMGs really bring them out.
There was nothing wrong with the stock pickups but I've wanted to try the EMGs and glad I did. Lows and mids sound good on my GK 210 amp. Very quiet, no hum at all. For $50 well worth the price.
