Have you guys seen the new basses on rondo.com? Is this going to replace the other P bass that they had before? I don't remember the model number.

I'd like it if it had a maple fretboard. I am so sick of rosewood fretboards on EVERYTHING...
A new neck from what? They are not interchangeable with Fender etc.Everybody rags on the headstocks, I don't get it. What else can you get for that price? Even a Squier costs more than that.
Buy one and put a new neck on it its still cheap.
Made in China.
I would like to know the reasoning behind switching to this new headstock.
I wont buy another new SX because of it.
Figures I'm waiting forEVER for Kurt to stock his fretted SX P basses again, finally I pull the trigger on a fretless P just to have something to go with my Jazz, then he stocks these. Damnit Kurt!![]()
I remember reading something a while back about Fender having a problem with the headstocks looking too much like a Fender. So I guess if you want a made in USA Fender with a Fender headstock then you pay Fender prices. Fender American Standard P bass - $1299.99 For $109 I'll take the cheesy headstock spend another $100 or so upgrading it and have nice sounding bass with a funny looking headstock for $1100 less than a MIA Fender.
