SYD VICIOUS!?

Watch "Sid and Nancy". Gary Oldman is great as Sid and Chloe Webb makes my skin crawl as Nancy (really is praise for her acting ability!). Gives a really good look at how screwed up they were, of course, drugs will do that to you. I was around when the Sex Pistols first came out. I loved them and was so into the Punk scene. Hated to find out later that the bass lines I dugged were actually done by Glen Matlock, Sid really couldn't play very much but he did put on one awsome show! I've read that people close to him described him as being a "sweet guy". Flea's probably just in love with the show that was Sid Vicious, I know I was... RIP Sidney...

A wasted life - two of them.
I actually had a couple of roles as an extra in "Sid and Nancy" - in some crowd scenes and I'm one of the junkies waiting to score dope (the scene where the deal does down through a bucket coming down from the window).
Hopefully that doesn't count against my 15 minutes of fame :D

Dude! That's my favorite scene! Can I have your autograph? The bucket is like an analog for how disconnected people are from each other and some other Derridian stuff. Although that's not a movie I watch very often, it was very well done.
