The guy i first think of is Jack Bruce and his Gibson even though he probably hasnt touched one in ages.

There's a picture in the Klaus Basquiz book 'The Fender Bass' of Jack Bruce playing a Fender VI baritone bass. He is one of the only famous people to play that thing, Iperhaps one of the only people period, so I do a reverse association - when I think of Fender VI, I think of Jack Bruce.

Funny, I just today found a 1974 Guitar Player magazine that I had stashed away a long time ago, with an interview with Entwistle. When he heard Thunderbirds were about to go out of production, he bought ten of them from Manny's.

Specifically, I think of the one that had a spider's web drawn on it. Ah, somebody had to be subtle in that band...

I can't wait 'til someone famous makes a Wish his sig bass...then I'll sell mine for LOTS OF MONEY!

Bad news fellas. I liquidated my wishes. That phase has come and gone. I still think they are dope but I am not sure if I can bet on them still working in the long haul.
