T-40 vs T-45?

I'm in the one-of-each camp. got the T-20FL and with this incoming 40 beauty I'm almost halfway there for rosewood fretboard editions in the T series. a rosey 45 or anything in blonde would be most welcome, including extra necks if anyone has some maple to spare.

would you t45 owners describe the sound as pbass on roids?

I wouldn't say that, but I only know a single Ibanez T-45 pu with 500k pots in a custom platform - it sounds really good, but depending on what P-bass you are referring to is too broad a comparison. It's a bucker and a P-bass is a split-single... so no direct comparison.
