hey ok so i have posted already about theh t bird. I want it and i know that i have to try it out, but im dying beacause my guitar center doesnt have it currently so i just wanna ask some questions. I heard that there is a lot of buzz on the strings and i was wondering if that was true. Also i heard that it wont fit on any guitar stand or in any guitar case. Also i was wondering how much it would cost to get a neck button put in. Also if there is any other problems with the bass tell me. I wanna hear whats wrong with it before i play it which will hopefully be pretty soon. Thank you.

I assume you mean the Epiphone T-bird. I have read a lot that the strap button can be moved to the plate behind the neck, or where the neck joins the body. It has a bolt on neck.
I have never experienced the buzzing you speak of.
I own the Gibson T-bird, both IV and Studio versions, and I love these basses. I think the "neck dive" complaints are unfounded. When not playing the bass, HOLD it with your left hand. Big deal! It's a BASS, not a necklace!
Only you can know for sure if ANY bass is for you or not.
Also, check out the new Epiphone Pro Series T-birds, a bit more expensive, but through neck! Also active.

for god sake gijoey, this is thread #4 you have started in 3 days asking the same things...let people see ONE thread and reply. You will get the same replies from the same people, but you are spreading this all over the board, and it gets very confusing.

Before you worry about changing anything, play one. Also do a search on the Gibson website and find the Epiphone and Gibson dealers in your area and go try out about 10 of them.
Obviously, you like me, have a hard time waiting for something when you want it. Patience Grasshopper! Or, as I said before, find another place to play one. I travel with my job and travel even more with my Business, I seek out music shops in any city. Can't ever try too many basses or amps. This will help you answer many qwuestions yourself.
Also, buzzing is not always a bad neck, more likely a bad setup, or a floor model that has a score of shredder wannabees acting cool in the music shop.
