tablet holders... anything good? ours are junk

Our Group has gone "paperless" using bandhelper.com / app. We have a completely plastic and failing tablet holder for our lead vocalist. Anything more robust out there that is universal (ipad + galaxy) that actually clamps well to a mic stand, not the boom that TB'ers are having success with? maybe it is just for rehearsal? phone works well for setlist only.

thanks.

hmm.. we're using OnSong on our iPads. I think our Singer uses this one:

It's very sturdy and you have to "slide" the iPad into the holder. Not the cheapest.. and it's also not generic.

I don't use one.. iPad sits on top of amp.. and I mostly use it to control my IEM mix.
I will pull up OnSong if we play a song I'm not really sure about.. which is mostly when we do weddings, not normal gigs.

It's gonna be tough to find something 'universal' because of the size differences between iPads and Android products.

I use an iKlip as well and it's built like a tank, but it is specific to my iPad mini.

And yeah - our band uses OnSong as well.

I haven't tried it but this looks interesting
