Most music notation software can generate tabs. The fingering on the tab will usually be wrong. The issue is getting the piece of music notated. There is software that will scan a sheet of music notation and insert it into a music notation program, but in my experience, they don't work very well and have more errors than just entering the music through the notation program.
And there is software that will scan an audio file and deconstruct it into individual instruments, and some of those programs can generate music notation from their scan. I don't know if they can generate tab or not but maybe. The reports are that they're pretty good at decomposing the audio but not so accurate at the notation but probably better than the sheet music scanning programs. That's probably your best bet unless you can find someone to input the music for you into a music notation program. There are services that will transcribe music for you for a fee.
I suppose you could enter the music notation into the notation software yourself, kind of like copying a picture, but, it takes a fair amount of effort to learn to use music notation programs and if you don't read music, I'd expect it to be pretty challenging, and, it's pretty time consuming, probably a half-an-hour per page for a simple melody.
Unless you're dead set against learning to read music, most children become pretty proficient at it in a few months of weekly lessons. I would expect that most adults would only need one lesson and then a couple of month's practice. You wouldn't be reading Chopin, but you'd be good enough to read a folk song.
