I suffer from this sub category of GAS. Gear that is lost and needs a home. I also take in stray dogs. I fight this type of gas with all the strength I can muster.

That is a great price. The head alone is worth at least double that. If that was offered to me, I would get the head and pass on the cab, but I'm a big Eden WT fan. Also, tone is more important to me than the weight. Tell your friend I'll give him $200 for just the head.
Save your money and buy a GR Bass cab , you can't get a better cab for weight , sound and power handling IMHO .
Pass… per the OP’s details. It is possible for some reinforcing hindsight feedback to occur if you later find yourself in need of a not-worth-it repair on that gear.
Similarly I’m pondering how to let go of some old gear, and I think I’m close to practically, or actually, giving it away. Acknowledging the current realities of “local market” and “old stuff” and “heavy” bring a different perspective to keep/sell decisions and pricing/value.
Best to keep around only the stuff you want and enjoy.

If you DON'T buy it, then when you buy what you're really after (not cheap stuff),
you'll have the money you saved to put towards that.

As good a deal as it is, walk away. Like many folks here, I've spent a fortune over the years buying, selling, buying amps over and over again.
Now, I have the luxury of playing through a Sansamp and PA. I've got a couple of small amps, one at home and one at a rehearsal spot but the point is - no more GAS and it feels wonderful. Right up to the time that I could play through the PA, I was continually looking for the 'next' amp. No more. Maybe you'll be there one day soon as well.

Edens are an orphan brand, and at it's age, a reliable source of parts and techs with Eden experience are dwindling. For me, 8's are fine for home stereo or studio monitors, but not for staking my living on with so many proper choices available, used as well as new.

Hold on...you need to be convinced not to buy something you've clearly stated you do not want? You might need professional help. I'm saying this respectfully and without judging. Addictions are a thing.

OP, you have something functional to do the job even if it's heavy. Keep saving for what you really want.
That's a hell of a set-up for $350. The Eden WT1205 was well north of $1500 new by itself. Great sounding amp with a crazy amount of power. if it doesn't work out for you for some reason, you should be able to sell it quickly. It's a dual powerblock amp that does 325 watts rms into 8Ω, 500 watts into 4Ω and 600 watts into 2Ω per channel. You can bridge it at 1,000-watts rms into 8Ω or 1200-watts rms into 4Ω. It also has two discrete preamps with some different controls that lets you set different EQ's and switch between them using a footswitch or a front panel switch. You can also set it to run in stereo which will run both preamps at once.
It's a very versatile amp and I can send you a pdf copy of the Manual if you need it. Be sure to ask your buddy if he has the footswitch for it. If I recall correctly it has about 4 different controls built in and a special connector for the footswitch. Any of the changes made by the footswitch override the corresponding selections on the front of the amp. Of course the drawback of this amp is that it weighs 26-lbs. So it's not a lightweight like the class D amps but it's not nearly as heavy as an all-tube amps that only have a tenth to a quarter of its power.
