TalkBass inaccessible for some people

Are you aware that for some days now, TalkBass has shown as offline to some people?

I get constant connection timeouts. I've assumed for the last week that TalkBass has been down, because that's how it looks.

Multiple queries on the OzBass forum show that I'm not the only one in Australia to have this problem.

If I come in through a VPN set to the US however, everything works fine. It seems TalkBass is refusing connections to at least some non-US users.

The problem is not my browser. It happens with three different browser versions.

The problem is not my internet setup. Every other website on the planet works fine, plus coming in through the VPN works. It's possible I guess that there's some mismatch between ISPs and TalkBass, though that would be slightly weird since TalkBass is the only problem site.

It appears I was too heavy handed with ip blocking at the firewall. I am trying to shut down a copycat site but not successful. I'll remedy this when I get back to the office tonight.
