Anyone else experiencing full page ads that won't clear using a mobile device (Pixel 2) on talkbass? It's maddening.

Thank you for helping me track this down (having same issue). Clearing cookies and cache did the trick.

Well, this was definitely the problem....thanks!
But after following the advice to clear cache and cookies (and running antivirus software) the problem still exists. With no app available I guess I won't be up here on TB that much.....at least not on my phone (which is 80% of the time).
I understand the owner of this site wants to monetize it, but when a website starts injecting crapware into my phone I've no choice but to stop visiting the site.....at least on my mobile.
Sad....I like this place.

Supporting membership also significantly reduces the amount of ads you get.
Is it just me, or have intrusive ads been showing up more frequently, and more invasively lately on mobile? I thought supporting membership was supposed to limit that sort of thing, but there's been enough of them lately to cause frustration.
I'm not just talking about your run-of-the-mill banners, but rather the fly-in-from-the-side violators, and the particularly aggravating flying-carpet ads as in the example below. WTH.
Positive, because it had my dark background preference enabled. I'll see if I can get a page to display so that I can post a screen.
Thanks for your help: When you get those sliders, are you also getting a static banner ad at the top or bottom? We're investigating if possibly the footer banner could be calling a "sizeless" extension ads
Checking that now, I'm not certain if they showed up at the same time. Will report back.
In the latest occurrence the flying carpet was the footer banner. This is all the same page instance. Sweetwater banner on top, flying carpet below.
Hmm, if memory serves, I saw one earlier in the day, but I've been browsing a bit since and don't recall seeing any others... and I also can't seem to get one to pop up now from navigating wildly across the site.
Seems like maybe those really intrusive ones have disappeared!
