Talman 600 pickguard. Opinions wanted.

If it had a Maple fretboard, I would say gold-anodized aluminum. But, being an Ash body with a Rosewood fretboard, this bass kind of falls outside the Fender template.

Conversely, my Precision has an ash body and a RW 'board, and, when it has a pickguard, it's ano gold.

The awful tort pickguard is pretty much the only thing stopping me from getting one.

Black, white, pearloid white, mint, ANYTHING would have been a better choice than tort here.

Compiling the shopping cart of mods I would want to do to this bass has put me into the price range of what I really want. I have decided to part ways with it.

Cool! Thanks for taking the time to do that. Seeing is believing, and I believe I like the white. One of the pickguard places had a purple pearl that might look slick on there too.

I couldn't be more torn on keeping it or not. It's not a main player but it is a cool bass...

where did you buy the the black and the white pearled pick-guards they look great
I have seen others and they look like pebbles or grain not good
