Tapered B strings

I love my sadowsky stainless steels. I recently spent about 100€ Tryjng out a few different string sets (all 5 string ones) and then I just happened to put the Sadowsky blue label ss ones on and Bam! There’s the sound I was looking for all along.

What are you looking for in a different set of strings? have you tried both black and blue label sadowskys? I will also say I far prefer .130 to say .120 on the B.

Elixir Nano SS.
I know, and in fact I use, Elixir Nano NPS 130T taperwound low-B, but never aware their SS are also available in taperwound.

Probably Elixir taperwound is my favorite, cause the taper length measured from the ball end, a slightly under 2", is the best length for top string loading bridge like most bridge on my basses.

GHS contact core super steels. Kalium's, D'addario Pro Steels, etc... - there are a lot of tapered strings out there. I buy only tapered strings for B's, and I'm a nickel guy - there are a lot of tapered B's out there, steel or nickel.

MTD Mike Tobias Designs sells Tapered 130 B strings. I have a good friend that plays only MTD and swears by them. Here's the link to a Bass string buying site with great deals. They also have many other brands at decent pricing; Feel free to browse.[Invalid or Expired Link Removed]

Maybe it is a Swedish thing (;)) but those blue label Sadowsky SS rounds are my go to string, too, since many years. That said, I am mainly a four string player.
