Tapewound flats?

I'm looking for a set of tapewound flats for a Peavey Fury which i recently fell in love with, but after using some google-fu to look for tapewound that are also flats, i only see Rotosound's RS88LD set specifying they're both tapewound AND flats.

Am i not searching for them correctly? Do you guys got any recommendations?

Cheers!

Right, do you mean how the string feels to you, or what's under the nylon tape? Because (unless I'm missing something) the nylon tape, ie. the part you mostly feel, is always flat, yes? Seems like nylon tape on a flat-wound core would be a tad dull, but then I've never heard such a thing...

The new La Bella white tapewounds have transparent tape over roundwounds I believe, but the surface is really smooth and slick. Their black tapewounds are not as smooth, you can feel the wraps on those.

ok ok just to clarify i'm definitely (obviously) a newbie at this, i got an answer from Invalid Link Removed when i asked which strings he was using on that one gig, and said "nylon flats"
