I'm putting together a small computer-based recording situation, and got the Tascam 428 controller/interface. I'm looking into software, and a friend is building me the computer.
A question in particular is, has anyone come up with a way to get support in Syntrillium CoolEdit Pro (not the newer version 2.0)? And: If I'm going to use, say, Soundforge for mastering, is that an application that involves the use of the 428? Does Soundforge support the 428? I don't recall seeing it mentioned in the manual. I'm new at this mess, obviously!
