Taxidermy Bass, WOW!!!

I have seen two items on TB in past 24 hours that would vastly improve my or any jam room: This and the Marshall half-stack refrigerator.

It is cool. $3200 cool? Ehhhh

OK, OK, this has provided some serious pun bait...much of which is pretty good!...but the net net (so to speak), might be disgusting...was the protein value of this fish realized before taxidermy? It's a bassic question...with karmic dimensions...

Man, I really love this bass for its huge outré factor. It's 100% great, through and through. I can't justify touching capital to obtain it, but I can easily envision an alternate universe where I get this bass and do my best to completely own it.

In this universe, however, with my current skill level, I would just come across as "that bald dork with a fish strapped to his waist".

To be honest, I was pleasantly surprised. Other than the fish image, it's a nice looking bass. I clicked totally expecting something with hair or fur when you said "taxidermy bass", and I was prepared to see something truly hideous.

How does bass rate as a tone fish? I find catfish is too low and dark altogether, and perch lacks mids.
