A sad aspect of all this, is that some people believe Swift had ANYTHING to do with the composition and writing of her own song.

Why would you believe any different? Look at the writing credits on any of her records and you'll see that she writes or co writes nearly every song.

If we're getting into phrase copywriting, here are mine: 'Fire the drummer, You should get a Fender Rumble (the Fender part may weaken my claim), Jaco didn't need 5 strings, and Replace it with tort'. I figure I should be able to retire withing a few months - a year at best and then I will buy all the tort pick guards, sacrifice them to Rah and in doing so will open up another phrase for someone else to profit from.

You can always sue. But most times you won't win. Not always. But most times.

But tackling somebody with pockets as deep, and legal representation as heavy as TS has, is quixotic at best. Even if you have a vastly better claim than this one.
