yeah I thought that's what I'd do too if I tried...
searched high and low for a pre made five string fretless but was almost impossible to find in oz...
ended up having to get a GWB35 made up for me and shipped inand use it alot now!

She also requested that I send her my version of the Cthulhu Mating Call, and while I'm not sure if Cthulhu actually breeds in the typical sexual sense, I was happy to oblige. So, here's that if anyone is interested:

Cheers man. Ye olde Woolly Mammoth and Malekko 600 Dark bookended said ring mod. Oh, along with a tube head, 10s, and a variably detuned jazz bass.

I can't remember what episode it was but it reminds me of a dr who episode where a giant alien 'kraken' was destroying a sea village dr who found himself in... they played similar music and I can just see about 3:00 minute mark whereby everyone screams as it sends out psionic waves to kill everyone or something and the last bit is like its celebratory call as it causes destruction :D

I haven't read any lovecraft yet but it sounds like Satan (Dick Clark) releasing his seed into the bowels of Chuck Woolery as told by the immortal Bill Hicks. As mindblowing as that sounded, I sure hope there wasn't another mindless boy band spawned from its creation.

But seriously I am going to revisit my ring mod.....in a huge way....:bassist:

Normally I hate reading books on anything other than, you know, real paper, but this website has all of Lovecraft's stuff and many of his stories are pretty short:

Personal favourites are The Rats in the Walls, The Shadow Over Innsmouth, and The Dream-Quest of Unknown Kadath. Definitely one of my favourite authors, odd bits of racism aside of course. Not that any of that bothers me (frankly I don't really give a **** concerning what offends who), but it is worth noting to anyone that might be sensitive toward such things.

I started recording process for my noise track, but my laptop crashed few weeks ago, and seems like it is unrepairable...so i cant submit (or ever record anything) until i have new laptop. I am hoping for tax return...

My submission is finished & sent. Had to upload to an online FTP due to file size (29-odd megs even when zipped), but hopefully that's not a hassle.

It's really funny how wimpy it sounds through laptop speakers... lots o' bass drone going on that those little things don't like.

Lovecraft is a funny one - he did have some dodge political views for sure. but his stories have stood up over time, despite their unusual writing style :D

oh and i like the way someone - usually the narrator - always says 'it was then i went mad with terror' or similar about 2/3 of the way through.
